Andy Murray dominated on the grass court, claiming one of his most significant ranking victories since returning from career-saving hip surgery in 2019. At the 2016 ATP Finals, he defeated then-world number two Novak Djokovic, who was then ranked second in the world. Murray will compete in his second final of the year against either Matron Fucsovics or Nick Kyrgios.

Nonetheless, the match was intense from the start as Murray won a set against Stefanos Tsitsipas and wowed the crowd with his abilities and tactics against the World No.5. On the other hand, Tsitsipas is not someone who will quickly relinquish the match. As a result, he fought back in the second set but Andy Murray struck some of the finest shots of the match during the set. In particular, he produced a stunning backhand shot in the fifth game of the second set which left the audience stunned and enthralled by what had just occurred.
