Former World No 1 Rafael Nadal has already arrived in Turin a few days early to get back some much-needed practice and gain momentum ahead of the Year-end Championship. He will be the top seed player at ATP Finals since World No 1 Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn citing an abdominal injury. After arriving in Turin fresh, he hit the tennis court for a good practice session where he showed some amazing football skills.
The Mallorcan will be looking for the first title of his career in Turin even despite being qualified 17 times. After the Group list was out, he finds himself placed in the Green Group as the leader along with Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz, and Felix Auger Aliassime. With the selection, ATP was highly bashed for being biased toward the Spaniard and giving him some undue advantage.
A video from one of his practice sessions went viral where the 22-time Grand Slam champion is exhibiting football skills with a tennis ball. She shows amazing juggling skills and controls the ball with his chest and with a racquet in hand before finally playing a full shot to kick off the ball. As soon as the video was shared on the internet, people on social media couldn’t stop boasting about his skills and also appreciated his talent.
This isn’t the first time, the Spaniard is seen playing football on the court. There are a few other instances where he has been seen doing the same which shows his love for football since he is an ardent fan of the game.
