Rafael Nadal, a record 22-time grand slam champion has now entered in semis of Wimbledon 2022 with a comeback win over Taylor Fritz where he won the match by 3 sets to 2. Taylor Fritz did everything he could do to win the match but in the end, it was Rafa’s resilience that held Fritz to enter his maiden semi-finals of a grand slam.
Rafa’s next opponent, Nick Kyrgios is an Australian professional tennis player. In singles, Kyrgios’ career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 13. Nick Kyrgios has been phenomenal in the ongoing tournament so far. He won against Chile’s Cristian Garim in the quarter-finals by 6-4, 6-3, 7-6.

Nick Kyrgios believes the 18-time Grand Slam champion’s success and money are reason enough for him not to apologize for hitting a ball directly at the Spanish star during their second-round match at Wimbledon 2019.
Kyrgios admitted the shot in that game was intentional and didn’t believe he had anything to be sorry for. “Why would I apologize? I mean, the dude has got how many Slams, how much money in the bank account?” Kyrgios said. “I think he can take a ball to the chest, bro. I’m not going to apologize to him at all,” he further added.
Both Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios are play again on the same court, at the same event (for the third time) where previously both have one win over each other at Wimbledon. Nick won in 2014 whereas Nadal won in 2019 after which Nick Kyrgios gave the above statement in the press. Both of them will meet on the 8th of July to get a lead in their head-to-head record at Wimbledon.
