Kalin Ivanovski who is currently aged 18, is a Macedonian tennis player who is currently playing in the Wimbledon juniors. Ivanovski has a career-high ATP singles ranking of 1474 achieved on 30 November 2020. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 1565 achieved on 28 June 2021. Ivanovski represents North Macedonia at the Davis Cup, where he has a win-loss record of 5–1.

He is currently in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon juniors where he is scheduled to play Pedro Rodenas on 7th of July. Ivanovski looked competitive in the tournament so far where he managed to get dominance over his opponents.

Nick Kyrgios’ effect on the youngster Kalin Ivanovski

Kalin Ivanovski won against Luca pow of Britain in with 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the round of 64 and then against the Mexican Rodrigo Pacheco Mendes of with straight sets in the round of 32. He also managed to comeback from in the round of 16 where he won in the third set against Edas Butvilas of Lithuania.

Kalin won the match point on 5th of July against Rodrigo Pacheco Mendes with the tweener serve which looked quite cheeky and reminded everyone of the time when Nick Kyrgios used the same cheeky serve in the opening set of his win over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round, Kyrgios decided to try an underarm serve. But he didn’t just go underhand; he also went between his legs for a “tweener” serve.

Nick Kyrgios also used the underarm serve in the Australian open in this year against Great Britain’s Liam Broady which caught his him off guard and in a hurried attempt to return the serve, Broady hit the ball beyond the baseline.
