Williams has a total of 23 singles Grand Slam titles to her name and she has been dominating the women’s circuit for years now, she is also hugely credited with revolutionizing the women’s game and fans had to go in a frenzy when the GOAT of female tennis met Rafael Nadal.

Fans went into a frenzy recently as Rafael Nadal was seen crossing paths with Serena Williams, in a video shared by the US Open across their various social media handles. The two tennis legends were seen meeting and hugging each other after practice as the tournament at Flushing Meadows is right around the corner.
The event is important for both the players as Serena Williams broke a million hearts after she announced that she will be retiring from the sport soon and that the US Open will be the final tournament of her career, after a glamorous career filled with titles, Williams will finally be calling it quits.
Rafael Nadal has been making his comeback from the injury that he suffered at Wimbledon this year, the Spaniard suffered an abdominal tear in the quarter-finals of the SW19 and he played his first match since then at the Cincinnati Open where he was eliminated in the first round. The Spaniard will be looking to improve on his performances and make a proper comeback at the US Open which is right around the corner.
