Novak Djokovic advanced to the semifinals of the 2022 ATP Finals for the 11th time in his 15 qualifications. He defeated Andrey Rublev in straight sets to win two matches in the Red Group round robin stage. He is one of the greatest players of the sport and has many inspired millions over the world. Similarly, it was a dream come true moment for a young kind when he met his idol, the Serbian legend.

He is now two wins away from his sixth title in Turin that will equal the record with Roger Federer. The Serb’s last title win in Turin came in 2015 when he had defeated the Swiss legend in the finals. Despite having a tough year where he was forced to skip tournaments, he didnot let that affect his overall performances. He has been performing flawless since Novak Djokovic has already won 15 out of his 16 matches with the hope of a perfect finish to the year.

Despite having a decent contest between the two players, Djokovic registered a comfortable win as where he handed the defeat to Rublev within 68 minutes of play. After the match concludes, he walked up to the audience to sign autographs and acknowledging the presence and support of the audience. But the moment became special for a young kid who considers the Wimbledon champion as his idol.

Upon seeing the former World No 1 sign his ball, the young kid couldnot hold back his tears and was very emotional to see his idol up so close. As soon as Novak Djokovic realized the situation, he comforted him and gave a warm to the kid. The Serb’s gestured was well appreciated and it was a cute moment to relish between the Serbian legend and one of his youngest fans in the world.
