Novak Djokovic will be looking to defend his title at the Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic has had a rough and late start to the year after being deported from Australia for his vaccination status and further being absent from two Grand Slam tournaments had put him on the back seat with a substantial drop in his overall ATP rankings.

Amid all his uncertainties over his participation, he has managed to retain his dominance at the All England Club as he won his 7th Wimbledon title as well as his 4th consecutive title at Wimbledon.

Djokovic is undefeated with a 9-match winning streak and looking for a chance to better his rankings before the end of the year. He hasn’t even dropped a set since his triumph at Wimbledon. He will next play at the Paris Masters where he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the finals to win his sixth title followed by the Nitto ATP Finals.

But still, a long battle awaits ahead as the record nine-time Australian Open champion has not been featured in the official poster released by the tournament on their microblogging site, and his chances reducing as Tennis Australia refuses to go against the Australian government.
