Novak Djokovic was seen practicing on hard courts ahead of his participation at the Cincinnati Masters and the US Open.

After taking a month-long break from tennis, World No.2 Novak Djokovic is back on the tennis court. He has recently made it clear and public that he will be participating in the upcoming Cincinnati Masters which starts on Monday. With a lot being changed since the last time he was at the competition, he will be adamant to lift the title ahead of the favorite, Carlos Alcaraz.
Novak Djokovic is one of the few players to have completed the Masters 1000 collection winning all the Masters 1000 titles with his last of the lot coming in 2018. He beat Roger Federer in the final to lift the Cincinnati Masters title for the first time. He has won the competition twice in the past with his other win coming in 2020 against Milos Raonic.
Ahead of the tournament, he was seen getting ready at one of the hard courts trying to get the hang of the pace and stability. He has been drawn against a very tricky set of players with many fans stating that things can get clumsy for the Serbian. He is expected to play Cameron Norrie in the third round and should he progress ahead, he is expected to come up against Jannik Sinner in the quarter-finals.

Having lost the recently played Wimbledon Championships, Djokovic was under a lot of scrutiny and pressure from the fans. The critics blamed his overconfidence s the reason for his loss and also stated that he is past his prime sending him indications about his retirement. But every single tennis fanatic knows that Novak loves competitions and how much of a tough mentality.
Novak took his time off from tennis to get his head into the right places and give his body the right amount of rest it needed. He is finally back and running on the hard courts looking to give it all in the next few tournaments with the last Grand Slam of the year already on his mind.
Having missed on the opportunity of securing a calendar Grand Slam yet again, he would be looking to secure the last Slam by putting up a fight against serious contender, Carlos Alcaraz.
