Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic, the reigning Wimbledon champion and former world No.1 has seen almost everything that can happen with a sports person in his career, from a nightmare to the most beautiful dream of winning Wimbledon which was of course his 21st grand slam win. He’s just one slam behind in terms of most no. of grand slam titles. He has won it all before 35 and is still going strong on the path to becoming Tennis’s most successful individual.

The Serb is ready for the hard court season in North America, but the possibility of whether he would be playing in the coming months, says something else. The three-time US Open champion’s participation in the upcoming tournaments in Canada and USA lies in the hands of the government authorities, where the Canadian minister has already issued advice that no such exemptions be given for the Serb who is unvaccinated. The picture in the US is also very complicated, and at this point, no one can say whether he would be able to play in those competitions or not. Although the US Open has listed his name on the line-up, also they are not someone who will decide on his entry into the region.

Novak Djokovic was seen riding a surfboard in the sea

Recent pictures of Novak prove that he is not wasting any time on things that do not lie in his hands. The former world No.1 is enjoying his summer break in Croatia with his two younger brothers, Marko and Djordje. Novak, in the pictures, was seen riding a surfboard on the Croatian coast.

He was seen in Dubrovnik, which is his next destination, and there he was caught by journalists, so he gave a short statement to the local media.

“I’m on vacation, I took the opportunity to go to Dubrovnik, which is one of the most beautiful destinations. I rest best in the sea, but I always have some physical activities,” said Novak for the “Index” portal.

The Serb was also recently seen in Montenegro with his wife, brothers, and some friends where he enjoyed Merlin’s concert in Porto Montenegro. Merlin stopped midway through his performance to acknowledge the Wimbledon champion’s presence. Djokovic then received a standing ovation from everyone present at the event, followed by chants of “Nole, Nole.”
