Tennis’ popular couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa continue to receive the limelight from fans and media alike. The duo are currently in Australia for the season’s maiden Grand Slam, the 2024 Australian Open.
Badosa secured her place in the third round defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-2, 6-3 following her first-round straight-set win over Taylor Townsend.
As for Tsitsipas, he defeated Zizou Bergs in four sets and then defeated local lad Jordan Thompson in another four-set battle in a thrilling 3-hour and 36-minute clash.
Following his win, he was being awaited by Badosa who had made her way back to the locker room. The couple was then captured sharing a long hug and kiss.
In another footage that emerged, Badosa could be seen giving him a small massage after holding the tired Greek who sat topless after a grueling encounter under the lights.
Tstisipas was the runner-up in the 2023 edition and is defending 1200 ranking points at Melbourne Park. As for Badosa, the Spaniard had missed the Major last year due to an injury and had only points to earn and not lose.

The couple’s happiness was short-lived as they had contrasting results. Badosa started the proceedings at the John Cain Arena for the third-round matches but suffered a defeat to Amanda Anisimova. The American progressed with a 7-5, 6-4 win.
As for Tsitsipas, he was scheduled for the second match on the Rod Laver Arena in the morning session. Up against Frenchman Luca Van Assche, Tsitsipas cruised to a 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 win to make it to the fourth round.
The Greek will now take on American Taylor Fritz who overcame Fabian Marozsan in four sets. With the two young guns going at each other in a couple of days, Tsitsipas will be counting on his lady luck to cheer him as she has always done.
Much to the disappointment of the ‘Tsitsidosa‘ fans, the couple have not signed up for the mixed doubles event at Melbourne Park this year. Tsitsipas will instead be pairing up with younger brother Petros in Men’s Doubles.
Nevertheless, Badosa is likely to remain in Australia supporting her boyfriend’s campaign Down Under. The Spaniard has often been spotted spending time with the Tsitsipas family and it won’t be a surprise to see her being the loudest supporter for Stef and also his brother in the coming days.
