The Biggest rivals on the court and the best of friends off the court- Swiss Legend Roger Federer and Spanish Bull Rafael Nadal wrote a new chapter in their off-court bromance as the former gifted a special T-shirt during the Laver cup, the last tournament played by the Swiss.

Rafal Nadal Museum‘s official Twitter handle has posted an emotional video in which Federer was seen signing the autograph on the T-shirt and gifting it to Nadal. Rafa Nadal Museum, located in Nadal’s native town Manacor, Spain, has also highlighted in the tweet that soon the same will be kept in the museum for visitors. As expected, as soon as the video was made public, several viewers, fans, and followers chimed in with a heartfelt message, with the majority of viewers acknowledging their relationship- the perfect blend of rivalry and friendship.

Federer and Nadal have faced off a total of 40 times on the court and the Spaniard led the head-to-head 24-16. They played 14 times in Grand Slam and Nadal was able to win 10 out of them. The Spaniard who is 5 years younger than Federer came as if he was a secret project to take down Federer as he single-handedly stopped the dominance of the Swiss legend in the earlier phase of their intensive rivalry. That’s not all, the ‘Fedal’ rivalry took a new high when Federer finally defeated Nadal in a Grand Slam match in the 2017 Australian Open final, after waiting for 10 years.

Rafa Nadal museum has showcased all of Rafa’s important titles and other important sportsmen’s jerseys/boots. The Academy is trying to nurture young talents all over the world. The museum and academy are both located on the same premises at Manacor.

Roger Federer was also invited to the inauguration of the academy way back on October 19, 2016, and the Spaniard has even named a suite in his academy named after the Swiss legend.

There is no denying that even if you are planning to visit there when Rafa is out of town, the academy and the museum themselves are worthy enough to pay to call on.
