Serena’s older sister, Venus Williams is no short of a legend herself, the 42-year-old has won 7 single Grand Slams throughout her career and just like her sister, is an inspiration and a role model to millions around the world. She will be making her comeback on the court at the Citi Open tomorrow.

Serena Williams surprises fans as she trains with Venus Williams

Serena and Venus Williams who are both gearing up for their respective comeback to the court with the National Bank Open and the Citi Open respectively were seen practicing together on the hard courts, word spread fast that the Williams sisters were practicing and fans gathered in large number to watch the duo play.

As Venus Williams gears up to play at the Citi Open, she practiced with her sister Serena. Venus will be facing Rebecca Marino in the first match of the tournament tomorrow, her sister Serena, however, will have to wait for a little while before she can return to the hard court as she will be participating in the National Bank Open in Toronto.

The National Bank Open commences on August 5th and will end on the 14th of August, the event will be Serena’s second tournament this year she only participated at this year’s Wimbledon before this where she was eliminated in the first round, she will also be taking part in the Cincinnati Open before she prepares for the US Open where she last played in 2020 and managed to reach the semi-finals of the event.
