Novak Djokovic is arguably one of the greatest tennis players of all time. The Serbian has an elite mentality, which has helped him defy all odds in the past decade. Novak Djokovic started playing tennis from a very young age, which pretty much explains his expertise and love for the sport.

An old compilation of the young version of Novak Djokovic has gone viral on social media. Aged just six years back then, Novak Djokovic already had the grit of a champion, given the intensity with which he practiced. In one of the clips, he is seen practicing with his coach back then. After hitting an unforced error, the Serb was really frustrated with his mistake, which instantly made him angry.

In the video, six-year-old Novak Djokovic also demonstrates his quality near the net cordon. He has one of the best backhands on the tour currently, something which he has been harnessing since a very young age.

Novak Djokovic has claimed nine Australian Open titles in his illustrious career, and is well on course to enter the double digits in 2023. After being sent back home last summer, the 35-year-old has already reached the fourth round in Melbourne Park.

Novak Djokovic has been in fine form in the past few weeks, claiming the title in Adelaide. However, his hamstring issues have been a major sign of concern, which has troubled him at the Australian Open 2023. The veteran injured his hamstring during his semifinal battle against Daniil Medvedev in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago.

Novak Djokovic could level Rafael Nadal’s tally of 22 Major titles, given that he conquers the Rod Laver Arena once again. The Serb faces a stern test in the fourth round in the form of home favorite, Alex de Minaur. The Australian is one of the most hard working players on tour, and will certainly not go down with a fight.
