The two shake hands to conclude the conversation, and Mikaela Shiffrin adds, “Congratulations. By the way, I’ve wanted to tell you this for a long time. Congratulations on an amazing career that is still ongoing; be sure to mention that “holding Roger Federer’s hand the entire time. Finally releasing his hand, the Swiss tennis legend laughs as Mikaela Shiffrin replies, “And, I am not going to hang onto your hand anymore.” Amid laughter, Roger Federer exclaims, “Happy New Year! This interview was enjoyable. I liked it.”
