Rafael Nadal started off with a bang at the start of this year as he won back-to-back two Grand Slam titles – 2022 Australian Open and French Open 2022, making him the record holder of 22 singles Grand Slams, surpassing Roger Federer‘s 20 and Novak Djokovic‘s 21 Grand Slam titles. His run to achieve a calendar Grand Slam was broken at the Wimbledon Championship 2022 as he had to withdraw from the 2022 Wimbledon Championship owing to the abdominal tear he incurred during the quarter-final match against Taylor Fritz.

Nadal is likely to be out of action for a couple of weeks and he is making the most of his recovery time as he was seen partying with his friends and family at a nightclub in Spain. He is expected to be fit for the US Open 2022 which commences next month. Before the US Open, he will play the Canada Masters and the Cincinnati Masters.
