After a wait two weeks, Wimbledon is finally going to find out their ladies’ single championship. World number 6, Ons Jabeur will be facing Czech player, Marketa Vondrousova. This is the first time Vondrousova is in the finals of Wimbledon. She defeated Elina Svitolina in the semifinals to reach here. This is the first time since 1963, that an unseeded player has made into the finals of Wimbledon.

On the other hand, Jabeur was the runner up last year, but she lost to Elena Rybakina. Ever since then, she had been wanting to get back on the grass court and win. On her way, she has defeated multiple great players like Bianca Andreescu, Elena Rybakina herself and world number 2 Aryna Sabalenka.
