American tennis player Caty McNally’s on-tour presence is more prominent in doubles than in singles. She is known for her doubles partnership with Coco Gauff and is also regarded as ‘McCoco’ by fans and media.
At the ongoing US Open, Caty has successfully paved her way through the championship doubles finals partnering with Taylor Townsend and currently awaits their clash with Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova for the Flushing title.
Under her belt also remains the runners-up doubles title at the recently held Cincinnati Open where she with her partner Anna Kalinskaya lost the tournament title to Erin Routliffe and Jessica Pegula with a score of 6-3, 5-7, 12-10.
In an interview with the young professional, she was asked about her comments on how the Covid-19 pandemic has altered the course of her game and she quoted “I don’t think my mindset has shifted since I turned pro and started playing more tournaments. This year, I’m super excited to just be able to play more events, experience new things and put myself out there. The more I do that, the more I’m going to grow, and the more I’ll be comfortable in these situations. That’s something I’m looking forward to because I think you can only grow from the experience.”
Her establishment in the doubles portfolio is quite impressive. Caty’s won 5 doubles WTA titles on her tour and alongside partner Coco Gauff reached the finals of the US Open 2021. She’s also achieved a high ranking of world No. 11 in doubles and as a junior tennis player clinched the runner-up title at the 2018 French Open.
Her statistics in singles although aren’t as shiny and applaudable. The 20-year-old has a record of continuously stalled singles results with her most recent being ousted from the New York courts without even making it through the main draw. She lost her qualifiers match to Elisabetta Coccioaretto with a score of 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.

According to numerous sources, Caty McNally is currently single and devoted to her professional tennis career. If any instance she does have a relationship with a mysterious someone she has never disclosed that publicly and remains very particular about keeping her personal life private.
