“Won’t be over until 2 weeks from now at this rate” – Wimbledon authorities negligence to not open roof frustrates fans as rain delays continue to hold the play
The consistent rain delays anger the tennis fans as they await the completion of half of first round matches in Wimbledon even in the 3rd day of the event.

Wimbledon has scheduled 87 matches to be played on the third day of the tournament. The first and second days of Wimbledon had rain interruptions, with only 59 matches of Round 1 completed from the maximum of 128 matches.
The remaining matches from round 1 scheduled today have had consistent delays, and not even the initial 10 matches from the 87 targeted matches have had a result yet. The persistent decision of Wimbledon to start the games at 11 PM and the games at Centre Court and No. 1 Court at 1 PM has upset the fans.
As expected, fans displayed their rage on Twitter against the poor management of Wimbledon.
Even though more than half of the first-round matches were remaining, different second-round matches were also scheduled today and are highly likely to be suspended or postponed to the fourth day of Wimbledon.
Consistent rain delays supported by poor management cause fans to lose their cool
Surely the targeted 87 matches to be played today are going to cross the ‘target’ for 100+ matches tomorrow. The rain has caused all the tennis fans to wait for 40 minutes to have 5 minutes of action, and then repeat the same. The tennis fans expressed their rage on Twitter in a wide range of emotions.
