Every year in the month of July, tennis fans from all around the world try to travel to England for a chance to feel the atmosphere of the Wimbledon Championships. And all the princes and princesses of Great Britain already have a seat booked for themselves, as Wimbledon is like a tradition for them due to the rich history of the competition.

However, something unusual has occurred this year as King Charles’s cousin, Flora Vesterberg, has not been offered a seat at the Royal Box. For the uninitiated, Flora is the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, who is likewise the cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth. Dickie Arbiter, a member of the Royal family, has said, “The Wimbledon organization makes so many tickets available to Buckingham Palace; some of them are in the royal box, some of them are in prime seats within Centre Court.

He continued, saying that it is in the hands of the Wimbledon committee to decide who they want to invite, and these tickets are distributed on a “ballot basis,” but it’s a disgrace to have not allowed King Charles’s cousin a seat at the Royal Box. He continued, saying, “They (the Wimbledon Committee) will be informed in advance if a royal wants to go, or they’ll send out an open invitation.”

While it is up to the Wimbledon Committee to decide whom they want in their front row, a seat is always reserved for the Princess of Wales, Catherine, aka Kate Middleton. As the secretary of later Queen Elizabeth said, “Certainly, the Princess of Wales will go; she will go to the Ladies Final, she will go to the Men’s Final on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.”

He also disclosed that Kate can travel for a match at Wimbledon whenever she wants, as her office will convey the message to the All England Club, and in just a whisker, her seat in the front row will be arranged. He added, “Wimbledon likes to fill up the rest of the seats with celebrities, and they don’t have any difficulty doing that.”
