From the long queues for buying tickets to several rain delays, this year’s Wimbledon has received a lot of negative comments. However now, the management is being criticized again by the fans for bad scheduling and the unnecessary suspension of several matches. As a result, many players have been playing their next-round matches consecutively, with their bodies receiving almost no rest time.

As expected, this is giving certain players a major advantage, and some players are even losing their focus due to constant postponement. After the rain had already caused enough problems for the players, almost 10 matches that were set to take place on Wednesday were postponed to Thursday.

The match will be followed by Carlos Alcaraz‘s second-round encounter on Friday, with many predicting that this can cause Murray a lot of disadvantage and that the Brit might not have enough supporters on his side like he did last night.

As expected, Murray wasn’t happy with the decision to discontinue the match last night and spoke to the match umpire for several minutes before walking down the tunnel.

What did fans and BBC pundit Andrew Cotter have to say about this incident?

The match being postponed might create a lot of trouble for the Brit as BBC commentator Andrew Cotter feels the same. He said, “The ultimate decision comes from the chief referee, Gerry Armstrong. Andy Murray has taken the lead, and they will come back tomorrow. The one thing Andy Murray will love to replicate tomorrow is this kind of atmosphere. That’s going to be hard to replicate unless it’s late on Centre Court.”

As expected, it was not a good sight for any tennis fans to see one of the best encounters of this year’s Wimbledon get suspended, leaving the fans waiting for yet another day.

Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:

Stefanos began the match strongly, bagging the first set after a tie-break. However, Murray yet again showed why he is not to be taken lightly on the grass court, picking up the next two sets and putting the Greek under pressure.
