The 2024 Australian Open winner, Aryna Sabalenka, has finally arrived in Dubai for the upcoming Dubai Tennis Championships. She had an impressive start to the season, winning the Grand Slam as well as reaching the finals at Brisbane International. 

After a bit of a break, the Belarusian is all set to resume her business on the court. However, the visuals that went viral on the media aren’t something related to the tennis court.

In a recent video shared by the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Instagram page, Sabalenka was seen on a shopping spree, and the Belarussian beauty was all in for it. Moreover, she was also given 4000 dirhams to buy anything she liked from the Duty-Free section. First of all, the Grand Slam winner went straight towards the scented candies.

While grabbing the candies and snacks, the current World No. 2 hilariously remarked not to tell her team about this.

That’s not all; interestingly enough, Sabalenka was also seen in a funny banter with the host as she asked him to move aside because of the strong smell of perfume. 

Besides the candies, the Australian Open winner went and looked at the perfumes and lipsticks from the store. ,

As she went towards the lipstick section, Sabalenka asked

The host replied with a bit of flattery, “Number one is here” addressing Sabalenka.

Top-four of the WTA, including Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek, will reunite at the Dubai Tennis Championships 

It would be the first tour after the Australian Open that the top four of the WTA will be participating.

As the draws for the tournament are out, Sabalenka will be facing Donna Vekic in the second round. However, her run in Dubai will be challenged by the likes of Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.

Moreover, Swiatek will be coming back with full confidence after winning the Qatar Open recently. In addition, the Polish player was also the runner-up at the Dubai Championships last time around.

She will be facing Sloane Stephens in the round of 32. Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina are scheduled to face Victoria Azarenka and Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the second round, respectively.
