Iga Swiatek is at the pinnacle of her career. Six WTA singles titles and two Grand Slams have been won by the Polish tennis player so far this year. She began her season with participation at the Australian Open and was looking good, but she tragically lost the semi-final match against the American Danielle Collins. She subsequently won the San Diego Open. She is only the fourth woman in tennis history to spend 30 straight weeks at the top of the WTA rankings, which is more intriguing. In the ongoing WTA Finals tournament, she has defeated all her opponents which include Daria Kasatkina, Caroline Garcia, and Coco Gauff.

Aryna Sabalenka had a season full of a mixed bag for her. She came very close to winning WTA tournaments on numerous occasions. But was not able to win the match. She started her season with a fine performance in the Australian Open but was knocked out by Kaia Kanepi in the fourth round. She next reached the final of the Tennis Grand Prix tournament at Stuttgart in Germany.

The Belarusian could not do much at the French Open as she was knocked out in the third round. She then reached the final of the Libema Open. She was fantastic in the USA as she played Semi-final round matches of the US Open and Cincinnati Masters. In the ongoing WTA Finals tournament, she won against Jessica Pegula and Ons Jabeur but lost against Maria Sakkari.
