WTA Italian Open 2022: Emma Raducanu vs Bianca Andreescu Live Stream: When and where to watch, TV Channel details in the USA, UK and other countries
Emma Raducanu vs Bianca Andreescu
After the Madrid Open, Britain’s No.1 Emma Raducanu will set her sights on the Italian Open as she prepares for the Roland Garros which will be her first major clay court event on the WTA tour. The 19-year-old will start her Italian Open campaign against former US Open Champion Bianca Andreescu who is also making a comeback this year.
Canadian star Bianca Andreescu returned to this year’s WTA tour at the Stuttgart Open. There she won the opening round but then was stopped in her tracks in the second round against Aryna Sabalenka. She played at a good level in Madrid as she defeated players like Alison Riske and Australian Open finalist Danielle Collins but crashed out of the Round of 16 against eventual runner up Jessica Pegula.
Raducanu on the other hand also lost out in the round of 16 after losing out to Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina. She played really well in the Stuttgart Open as she reached the quarterfinals before losing out to eventual Champion and World No. 1 Iga Swiatek. Emma Raducanu played on clay for the first time on the WTA tour and she was pretty good. She is getting better with every game and will look to pose a threat in the Roland Garros.
