“GOAT” Nike Congratulates Rafael Nadal for his Victory at the Australian Open 2022

Rafael Nadal has once again won the hearts of everyone by winning the crown of the Australian Open 2022. The Spaniard played against World No.2 Daniil Medvedev in the finals of the tournament and won the match after a tedious but interesting match of five sets. In the first two sets Daniil won making everyone think that World No.5 will have to go home as the runner up but as the match approached forward, Rafa showed his tennis skills and in the fifth set, he played his best tennis and claimed the title.
Rafa had an incredible start to the new 2022 season. Ahead of winning the Aussie Open, the player participated in the ATP Melbourne Summer Set tournament and conquered it by knocking out Maxime Cressy in the finals.
Nike praises Rafael Nadal
Recently Nike, one of the sponsors of Rafa congratulated him on his astonishing performance at the Aussie Open. The official Twitter handle of Nike posted a tweet applauding the legend.
In the tweet it wrote, “Advantage, Nadal.Today, @rafaelnadal made history by becoming the first male tennis player ever to reach 21 Majors. Rafa has been on a relentless journey to clinch this historic 21st Slam. He now stands alone at the top as the GOAT in the men’s game.”
Nike has sponsored Rafa since he was 13. Although there were rumors that Nadal will switch his sponsors but he stick to his old friend. Nike reportedly pays Nadal around ~10M a year. The Spaniard wears Nike’s Air CourtBallistec 2.3 shoes that have Rafa written on the right one and the logo of a bull on the left.
