Novak Djokovic during a recent interview shared information about a supportive message from Daniil Medvedev after he lost the finals against Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open.
The world No.1 was deported from Australia and wasn’t allowed to contest at the Australian Open 2022 due to his vaccination status. The 9-time Australian Open champion and also the defending champion was stolen an opportunity to defend his title as well as making it 10 Australian Open titles.
However, the final was played between Rafael Nadal and Medvedev which lasted for 5-sets and in the end, Nadal came out as the Australian Open champion. Djokovic in a recent interview shared information about that message.

Djokovic in his recent interview shared that 5 minutes after Medvedev lost the finals, he texted him a very supportive message. He refrained from revealing the message because those were private, but he did say that the nature of the message was supportive.
