“I am not afraid of you or your legal team,” Olya Sharypova’s warning to Alexander Zverev

Alexander Zverev and Olya Sharypova

Olya Sharypova, ex-girlfriend of Alexander Zverev had recently accused Alexander Zverev of torturing her both, physically and mentally. The first part of the entire incident between the duo was revealed by Olya last year, and ten months later, she dropped another controversy with her latest revelations.

In her latest accusations, Olya Sharypova had stated that Alexander Zverev had physically abused her during the Shanghai Masters in 2019. Just days post her accusations, the German tennis player denied any such incident during the US Open 2021 press conference and stated that the court had already proved that he was not guilty.

Alexander Zverev had asserted that he would take legal action against her ex-girlfriend, Olya on account of defamation. However, Olya Sharypova has stated that she would not back down from her stance, and is ready to battle it out in the legal proceedings.

A few days after Alexander Zverev denied the accusations, Olya Sharypova revealed that the German’s legal team had forced her to remain silent in the German media. She also stated that Zverev’s claiming of winning a defamation case in court were false.

I am not afraid of you or your family, or your legal team, who apparently made German media stay quiet about by article, but after your statement they wrote dozens of articles that you won a defamation case against me,” said Olya.

Why am I not aware that we went to court? Don’t your lawyers have my number? All your success and money won’t help you to shut me down and you know it. Nice try to scare me, but I have nothing to be afraid of,” she added.

It will be interesting to see how Alexander Zverev reacts to these accusations in the coming few weeks, given that US Open 2021 is just around the corner.
