Last year, Nadal had to withdraw from the Canadian Open in August due to a severe foot injury forcing him to undergo a six-month hiatus. His condition then was so bad that many assumed he would never be able to return to his old level. However, the Spaniard recuperated and got back stronger winning the tournament we all witnessed throughout 2022 January. Showing us once again the true strength of being one of the big three.

As a fellow Spaniard who represents the country on a world level bringing glory to all its people, when Nadal heard the news about Marc Márquez‘s concussion incident during a training incident in November, this, however, is not the first time the racer has faced it. To him, this is reoccurring after almost ten years. He is going through treatment but is not yet back.

Nadal could relate to the racer and wishes to encourage him. That’s why he takes to Twitter to convey his encouragement and regards.
“I know how difficult it is to manage injuries, but I know that you are going to recover one hundred percent and I wish you an incredible World Cup,” Rafa said.

Nadal has overcome many difficulties and injuries over the period of his career. The tennis star has inspired Márquez on multiple occasions. A word of encouragement from Nadal does mean a lot to the racer.
