Nikoloz Basilashvili downs yet another American as he defeats qualifier Maxime Cressy 7-6(3), 6-3, 7-5 in 2 hours and 11 minutes. Nikoloz was up against Sebastian Korda in the first round but the American had to retire in the 2nd set due to fitness issues. He reaches the 3rd round for the 3rd time in his career with his 4th round run at the 2018 US Open his best result.
