Yulia Putintseva has been in fine form at the Hungarian Open till now. She thrashed Kateryna Kozlova in the quarter-final clash with ease even after dropping the opening set. Yulia bageled Kozlova in the second set and eventually emerged victoriously by 6-7, 6-0, 7-5.

She went past Ekaterine Gorgodze and Ana Konjuh in her first and second-round clash respectively without much trouble.
