Rafael Nadal has been able to achieve a goal that his counterparts Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer failed to achieve. The 35-year-old won his 21st grand slam title at the Australian Open 2022 and surpassed the other two to become the player with the most grand slam titles in his career.

The former world No.1 has been receiving tons of praises from people all around the world for the resilience he showed down under and fought adversity to become the Australian Open champ for the second time in his career.

The three were in the race to determine who will end up with the most no. of grand slam titles at the twilight stage of their careers. Nadal’s unbelievable performance at the Australian Open with both his other counterparts missing was the right moment to move ahead of the other two.

Nadal fought adversity after being two sets down against Daniil Medvedev. He managed to win the remaining three sets and defeated the world No.2 to lift his second career Australian Open and 21st career grand slam title and made history.

Nadal has been receiving a lot of praise for his magnificent performance at the Australian Open.
