Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal has never failed to capture the headlines. Be it the Grand Slams or the record books, the player has always been the favourite of journalists. Last season the player was not able to give his best in the tournaments as in the middle of the year he suffered from a severe leg injury amidst a tournament and had to spend the rest of the season off-court recovering from the injury.

The legend made a comeback in the latter tournaments of the year but did not get any luck. At the start of the new 2022 season, Rafa played at the ATP Melbourne Summer Set tournament and won the finals by defeating Maxime Cressy in the finals to win his 89th career title.

He was then seen at the Australian Open 2022 which was an element of surprise for not just his fans but for his fellow tennis mates too. At the Australian Open, the Spaniard had a long and great run and one after the other won every tournament and eventually knocked out the current World No.1 Daniil Medvedev in the finals and wore the Aussie Open crown. Recently Rafa claimed the ATP Acapulco 2022 title by again knocking out Daniil Medvedev in the semis and Cameron Norrie in the finals.
