Rafael Nadal’s victory at the Australian Open 2022 was a matter of surprise and happiness for millions of people across the globe. The way he won the match after losing the first two sets to World No.2 Daniil Medvedev was bewildering. The legend once again proved why he is a legend and won not just the Aussie Open crown but also hearts of millions of people around the worldworld.
Many people across the globe including Rafa’s fellow tennis mates and former tennis legends congratulated him for conquering the first big event of the season. Everyone was shocked to see him play at the tournament considering his injury from last season, but the Spaniard came and won the crown.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is a French professional tennis player. His current ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals is World No.263 and his highest ranking was World No.5. He has 18 career titles to his name. Currently he is playing in the Open Sud De France tournament where he has reached the round of 16 by defeating Kacper Zuk in the opening round with the score of 6-4, 6-4. After winning the opening round, the player congratulated Rafa for his Victor at the Aussie Open. He said that he was inspired from the win.
“I’m happy to be able to win, it means a lot to me, I haven’t played much, eight games in two years… Rafa’s victory this weekend was inspiring (smile). I do not hide from you that it is not simple. You have to accept to push back the limit, to accept the pain again. The objective is above all to see how long I will last. It is not the great glory to pass this 1st round, of course… For the weeks that I have left as a player, the objective is to progress little by little. It’s going in the right direction .” Tsonga said.
