Arthur Cazaux’s Tennis Career

At the age of 11, Cazaux decided to change sports from handball to tennis. As a pro in handball, the Frenchman gets his physical endurance from that sport which has given him an advantage in tennis. From watching Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the 21-year-old has announced himself to the world after stunning Holger Rune.

Starting his junior season great, Cazaux ranked as No.4 in the Juniors and had a record of 34-21. With wins over Adrian Mannarino and Sebastian Korda, the Frenchman ventured into professional tennis. With a breakthrough at the Australian, he revealed to secure his biggest win against Laslo not knowing that he would eventually beat a top 10 seed.

Discovered tennis for the first time at the age of 3, the Frenchman became the first one from his family to venture into the highly competitive world of tennis. Considering his parents as heroes, the 21-year-old stepped into tennis with big dreams.
