Casper Ruud came into the Swedish Open after a disappointing outing at Wimbledon 2021. Even after battling super hard, Ruud was knocked out in the very first round by unseeded Jordan Thompson. The contest went on for five sets and Jordan kept his cool under pressure which allowed him to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
