Serbian Minister sees conspiracy plotted by Australian Open in Novak Djokovic Visa saga

Fans around the world are certainly not happy as to how the entire Novak Djokovic situation has been handled. Particularly, the Serbian fans have been angered by the treatment vented out to their national hero after latest visa row.
Novak Djokovic’s visa has been cancelled by the Australian Border Forces, and he has been left stranded in Melbourne, until a final decision is taken. Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ivica Dacic has now accused Australian Open from stopping Djokovic to become the world’s greatest tennis player.
The minister clarified that Novak Djokovic had met all rules and regulations, and filed the correct dcouments. Hence, he calls out the authorities to stop harassing the world number one and reinstate his Visa.
“That deal is shameful and needs to be made clear to Australiah. The case is not special or specific, here it is about the politicization of the matter,” said Dacic.

Ivica Dacic continued his rant on the authorities, as he stated that the situation was handled in a shameful manner. He added that venting out such treatment to one of the world’s greatest players and world number one is disgusting.
“He is the number one tennis player, an international name and a legend, and such behavior is rare, shameful and shameless,” he added.
Dacic also went on to say that there is a conspiracy being plotted against Novak Djokovic by Australian Open. If Novak Djokovic wins the the title in Melbourne, he will claim his 21st major title, which will also take him above Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
“If he won the Australian Open, where he triumphed nine times, Djokovic would break the world record with 21 Grand Slam titles,” Dacic added.
A decision on the case will be taken on Monday, as Novak Djokovic will learn his fate. The Serbian is currently under hotel quarantine in Melbourne since the last four days.
