Former World No. 1 Serena Williams has not been idle despite being inactive on the Tour as she continues to rehab from her leg injury she suffered in the opening round of the 2021 Wimbledon Championships that eventually ended her season marking it to be her final appearance of an already short season till then.

Despite multiple attempts, the comeback was not possible for Serena, not only in the 2021 season but also in the 2022 season so far. She is currently ranked 248th in the world and she could well be outside the Top-300 next time she steps onto the court. With the player exploring other avenues as a businesswoman, she struck gold with her firm Serena Ventures.

The Oscars are only a few days away, and in the past week, we have slowly started to learn who was going to be presenters at this year’s show. Now producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan have announced the final group of presenters, including Josh Brolin, Jacob Elordi, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jason Momoa, Jill Scott, J.K. Simmons, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, and Rachel Zegler.

One name in this would be familiar to tennis fans: that of Serena Williams. The American legend has been conferred the honor to present at the Oscars this year. This is a consequence of her immense fame both on and off the field, with Serena being held as a fashion icon.

Alongside her, even her sister Venus Williams would be presenting at the awards. The Williams sisters are considered icons in the country due to their immense on-court successes over the years.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion is currently recovering from an injury that she sustained at the Wimbledon Championships last year. During her recovery time, the American tennis player looked quite busy with her various photoshoots and investments.
