As a result, it has led tennis star Frances Tiafoe to compare him to another New York great, Jay Z.

Jalen Brunson has had a lot of impressive performances which have exceeded expectations and earned him a level of popularity rivaling that of Jay-Z. His success on the court, which includes him averaging 32.4 points and 7.5 assists per game in the playoffs, has made him a beloved figure in the city of New York.

It was a great outing for Frances Tiafoe in his second-round win at the US Open, and he marked it by using Mikal Bridges’ signature three-point celebration.
