Johanna Konta was once one of the brightest names in women’s tennis. The former British No.1 had reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon in her prime. The Briton also reached a career-high ranking of 4 in 2017.
However, injuries had plagued her for a long time. Since her successful 2019 year, the 30-year-old has constantly battled with niggling injuries. In 2021 too, despite winning the Nottingham Open title on grass, she struggled in general with her form. Consequently, she finished the year outside the top 100 in the rankings. After a long struggle with poor form and suffering from a long-term knee injury, Konta announced her retirement from professional tennis in December of this year.

It’d be safe to say that Johanna Konta’s life off the court has recently been much more happier than that on the court. Konta married her long-term boyfriend Jackson Wade in London two weeks ago, seven months after the couple announced their engagement.
The Briton looked absolutely stunning in her white Max Mara wedding dress and cardigan, while holding a matching bunch of roses. Her bright smile along with her divine dress looked absolutely picture perfect as her delight at getting married was there to see for everyone.
The former professional shared the wedding pictures on Instagram with the caption ‘Two weeks of being a Mrs.’
