‘They should ban him from attending the event ever again,’ Serena Williams’ halfsister Sabrina calls for ban on Will Smith, says his award should be taken away for his inappropriate behavior at the Oscars

Will Smith slapping host Chris Rock was the most talked-about incident at the 2022 Oscars despite a glamour studded evening. The American actor later won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Richard Willimas, Serena Williams’ father, in the movie King Richard.
But following the incident, people all over the world have demanded stricter actions to be performed against Will Smith for public display of violence. Sabrina Williams, Richard Williams’ estranged daughter, and Serena Williams’ halfsister, also believes that the actor should be stripped of his Oscar and banned for life from attending the event.
In an interview with The Sun, Sabrina said that you can’t apologize the next minute after you’ve lost your mind in public. She agrees that he should be stripped of the Oscar.
“So Will Smith got angry, went overboard, and assaulted another person. Then you just can’t apologize two minutes later, you lost your mind. Wow. I agree he should be stripped of the Oscar,” he said.
She said that she has Alopecia and hence can vouch that the joke was in bad taste but what Will did was not called for. “I have alopecia, I can relate to that because I have alopecia really bad. But it’s not the time or place. If somebody offends you, you let them know in a private setting – ‘Hey, you offended my wife, I did laugh at the joke, but my wife was offended,'” she added.
“But just to go on stage in the middle of an event and slap somebody, walk back down, and then yell from your seat. That’s just not appropriate. If they don’t take the thing from him, they should ban him from attending the event ever again, as that’s just ridiculous. I have no sympathy for him because that’s just irresponsible behavior.”
Sabrina further said that Will probably needs counseling because what he did at the Oscars was very inappropriate. “He probably needs to seek counseling. I’m not saying he has mental health issues but maybe he can talk to somebody because that’s not appropriate behavior,” she said.

Sabrina then took a dig at her father, Richard Williams, and asked whether Will learned violence from portraying her dad in the film. She also called out the privilege actors have and said that in a normal society would get arrested for that crap.
“Did he learn the violence from my dad as well? Maybe he took the thing too literally. But these actors are so entitled, they have their own actor privilege – ‘we can do whatever we want and it doesn’t matter to anybody,” she added.
“That’s the proof in the pudding. I can just go slap you up on stage because a normal person in a normal society would get arrested for that crap. But you’re a celebrity and that doesn’t happen. You don’t fight the c**p out of somebody with millions of people watching and then there’s no punishment. That’s like saying violence is okay.”
