Seppi is coming into the second round with high confidence as he had taken down the Wimbledon 2021 quarter finalist, Marton Fucsovics in a 5 set thriller. The Italian won the match in just over 4 hours with the score line of 2-6, 7-5, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6. The veteran recently played in Cincinnati Masters and Witnson Salem Open where he failed to cross the opening hurdles. It will be interesting to see if he would be able to carry on the momentum against Hurcakz.
