Former World No. 5 Eugenie Bouchard has become one of the most popular tennis stars on the social media platform for her regular posting. The Canadian is currently nursing her injury which has kept her out of action for nearly a year now. While she is looking to return to action, the player is quite active and is a social media star herself.
Bouchard recently took to her Instagram handle to post a few photos and videos of her party organised by ‘Homecoming Weekend’ organised by The h.wood Group and Revolve. Bouchard was seen in a black dress and the pictures and videos of the event had fans going crazy in the comment sections of her Instagram post admiring her for her outfit and looks.
The event was organised during the weekend building to the Super Bowl LVl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. The sporting event had a great star-studded attendance of different athletes and celebrities for the event. The half-time show also had the Michelob Ultra commercial featuring Serena Williams that has the tennis fraternity talking about.
Eugenie Bouchard rank falls outside Top-300
Bouchard was last seen at the 2021 Monterrey Open in Mexico where she lost in the first round itself. Prior to it, she had reached the finals of the 2021 Abierto Zapopan Open where she reached her 8th career final but lost to Sara Sorribes Tormo. After the tournament, Genie had injured her shoulder which has since then kept her out of action.
Bouchard is currently ranked 330th in the world and will have to rely massively on wildcards to get regular on the Tour or else go through the qualifying rounds of the events. Bouchard is yet to however confirm the date of her comeback.
