Djokovic had led Serbia to their maiden and so far the only title at the 2010 Davis Cup and has been on the hunt for another Davis Cup title. They came close in 2013 but had to settle for the runners-up trophy after being defeated by the Czech Republic. Since then they have made the semi-finals only once in 2017.
