Roger Federer needs no introduction when it comes to his achievements on tennis courts across the globe. The Swiss Maestro has won titles on all surfaces on all the biggest stages and his humongous trophy cabinet is the testimony for that.
Federer is a winner of 20 Grand Slam titles, 28 ATP-1000 Masters titles, 24 ATP-500 titles, 25 ATP-250 titles, an Olympic Silver in Men’s Singles, a Gold medal in Men’s Doubles and has won 6-year end championships, totalling 103 titles from 157 career finals which have helped him earn a total of $130,594,339 placing him 2nd on all-time career earnings and 2nd on career-titles in the Open Era.
While his achievements have been talked about a lot of times, what often gets under the radar is his change in hairstyles, from sporting a blonde dye to having a ponytail and then chopping his curls off to have a short haircut and growing his curls again to hold them behind his famous headband.

Roger’s first interviews saw the teenage Swiss sporting a blonde haircut with only the top dyed while the sides were left untouched.
The Ponytail
This hairstyle was one of the most embarrassing ones for the Swiss as he looks back to his younger days. But this was also the one that got him the first major success as he won the 2003 Wimbledon sporting a ponytail.
Goodbye Pony
Federer decided to snap the ponytail but did not completely let go of his fascination for long hair and made yet another makeover to his hairstyle.

After years of keeping long hairs, Federer finally decided to cut them off but instead had a messy top to compensate for the letting go of his tail.

Roger added his famous Nike headband to his set of accessories that went on to become as famous as the Swiss himself.

For a brief period of time, Roger let go off his curls and struck to a normal haircut that went with his good boy image even more.

Federer did not keep short hair for a long time and went back to his headband look keeping a messy top much to the delight of fans who grew up watching the Swiss Maestro clinch titles at will with the famous Nike tick on his forehead.
With Federer celebrating his 40th birthday today, one may wonder whether he will go for yet another change in his hairstyle. While this remains a mystery to be revealed in the future, the tennis fraternity will nevertheless be wishing the best of birthdays to Roger and hoping to see him back in action again as early as possible.
