After a prolonged series of court appeals and challenges, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic was finally given a verdict against staying in Australia and playing the first slam of the year. With the ruling being against him, he was given the order to deport immediately to Serbia, as his visa was cancelled once and for all. Reports also suggest that he may also serve a ban in the country for 3 years straight, but with so much chaos happening already, a confirmation on this is far-fetched.

Djokovic left for his home country soon after the deportation order, and as a piece of rare good news for him at the moment, his home fans seem ready to give him a warm welcome.
