The stage is all set for the 2021 US Open Women’s Singles finals that will be played out between teenagers Leylah Fernandez and Emma Raducanu. Leylah turned 19 during the course of the US Open while Emma will turn 19 in November. This is the first all-teenage final at the US Open since 1999 and it promises to be a thriller.
The crowd at the Flushing Meadows has been in awe of both the teen sensations and have supported them as if they are playing on their respective home turf. With a clash between two of the crowd favourites, the atmosphere will be electric in the Arthur Ashe Stadium where the match will take place in what is expected to be a full house.

Winner of the US Open 2021 Women’s Final will take home $2,500,000
With the US Open 2021 increasing their prize money this year by 7.6% that has made this year’s US Open as the edition with the highest prize money on offer. Despite an overall increase, the finalists will take a cut of 16.6% from what the finalists of the 2020 US Open won. This has been done to raise the prize money in initial rounds in the interest of the lower-ranked players.
The winner of the finals will take home $2,500,000 while the runner-up will be awarded $1,250,000 along with their respective trophies. The winner receives a life-size replica of the trophy with their name engraved while the runner-up receives a dish with runner-up and the tournament year written on it.
