Argentine professional tennis star Juan Martin del Potro was not seen on professional grounds for a long time. But currently, the player will compete in the Argentine Open 2022 and play in the round of 32 against Federico Delbonis.
His current ranking according to the Association of Tennis Professionals is World No.757 although his highest ranking was World No.3 which he gained on 13th August 2018. He has 22 singles career titles to his name out of which one is a Grand Slam title he won at the US Open in 2009 where he defeated one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Roger Federer. He also won the Davis Cup in 2016 with Argentina.
Del Potro has not played for the Grand Slam since 2018 and for a long time, he is not playing at all. He is struggling with knee problems for a long time which has kept him off the court. Recently the player admitted that he would soon take retirement from his game as he is not able to play because of knee problems.

Oriana Barquet is the new girlfriend of tennis star del Potro. The couple started dating after del Potro broke up with his former girlfriend Sofia Jimenez.
Oriana is 22 years old, is a model, and also has a degree in Journalistic Communication. She attended primary and secondary school at St. Nicholas’ School in the Buenos Aires town of Olivos. Then she studied the international baccalaureate in Social Sciences in Uruguay and finally studied journalism at the Argentine Catholic University. In addition to her media work, she also has a clothing brand and volunteers with the United Nations, for TECHO – Argentina and Convidarte Voluntario.
