Alexander Zverev has no regrets about his teenage life
Athletes and sportsmen often live a life that is vastly different from people the same age. This difference is stark when the athlete is growing up; his teenage years. At a time when teenagers spend time in school and hang out after that, an athlete usually spends his day practicing and uses the evenings to maybe copy notes from the school or study. Year long travel, strict diet, sleeping on time this is the normal teenage life that an athlete or tennis player experiences.
Alexander Zverev also had the teenage life of an athlete, not a normal life like a normal kid. But he is happy about it. He says that he has no regrets as he knows if he wanted a normal teenage life he wouldn’t be a professional tennis player today. Alexander Zverev says, “I knew I had to be disciplined and work extremely hard for the things that I wanted to achieve, because if you want to have both, you’re not gonna be as successful.”
