Semifinals

Ons Jabeur
Ons Jabeur

Amanda Anisimova and Ons Jabeur look the likely winners from their respective quarter-final clashes and could meet for the first time. Both the players will come well rested into the match and can certainly play out a thriller. Ons is better experienced among the two and has a better Clay record as well.

Leylah Fernandez looks the favourite against Pliskova given the former World No. 1’s recent struggles with fitness. Kudermetova might not be able to fend off the in-form Paula Badosa and the Canadian youngster could clash with Paula for the 3rd time with both of their earlier meetings going in Badosa’s favour.

Ons and Paula have met thrice with the Spaniard leading 2-1 in the head-to-head. While all of their meetings have come on hardcourts, it will be a different challenge on the green clay of the tournament in Charleston. Given their current form coming into the tournament, Paula looks the one to take the title home.
