Since the start of 2022, Camila Osorio has competed in three tournaments starting in Melbourne with the Australian Open, where she got eliminated in the first round by Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka (3-6, 3-6). In the Abierto de Guadalajara, she made it to the quarterfinals, however, losing to Anna Kalinskaya (4-6, 1-6). World No. 51, Nuria Parrizas-Diaz, is a two-time WTA challenger winner. After beating the British Player Heather Watson (6-4, 7-6) in the second, Diaz faced the fourth seed Sorribes Tormo in the quarterfinals, beating her in straight sets (6-3, 1-6, 6-4). The Spaniard didn’t display this level of stability in her previous tournaments. Having gotten eliminated in the first round of the Abierto de Guadalajara to Anna Karolína Schmiedlová. She didn’t make it past the third round in the Adelaide International 2 and the Australian Open.
