Jessica Pegula vs Arantxa Rus: Match Preview
Jessica Pegula has had a good consistent run this year, and has a 21-8 win loss record to show for it. She played well on the hard courts and if her Italian Open performance is to be considered, she has brought that good form onto the clay courts as well. Her highlight this year has been reaching the Quarter-finals of the Australian Open.
On clay she started with a round of sixteen exit at the hands of Aryna Sabalenka at the Madrid Open. Following which she came to the Italian and made it to the Quarter-Finals, where she lost to Petra Martić of Croatia. Her biggest win came against Naomi Osaka in the second round.
